After the friends have arrived at the stone border between Ice Peaks and the Eastern Sands, they avoid a meeting with jabbo's and set up a makeshift camp. Modi is approached in thought by the fleeting being, which convinces him to immediately conquer the Ice Peaks. His friends encounter Modi in a very dreamy state, after which he immediately urges them to go up as quickly as possible via the icy passage.
Vlad and Ristato arrive at Inn Ponsoon. Alina sends them to the old house of faith in the Salt Marsh, where a certain saltwater man must live. He probably knows more about the curious condition of the parental villa of the DeDunes. But not before a supper and a good night's sleep.
Vidia wakes up after the horrific procedure, and the servants of the woman holding her captive have yet to do a job ...
Modi is ready to guide his friends through the icy passage. It is in the evening, but he needs Eastern Starline to do that. His silent guide, the fleeting being, meanwhile has a meeting with her client, who wants her to hide for the time being in exchange for a double fee. She does not want that, but unfortunately she is not in charge.
Korul Xufol and his Delegation arrive at the oasis and maintain contact with patrol guard Pyotr Yeena in their search for the Resistance. Eventually they find traces at the oasis and cleverly avoid meeting the oohowls.
