Calida “Cali” Xufol is a gatekeeper from the fortified town of Lokos. Calida is the sister of Modi Xufol and daughter of Korul Xufol, also Chief Guard, and her mother Rasi Xufol. Together with her older brother Modi, Calida grows up in Lokos.

Calida does not hesitate for a moment when Modi asks her to go with him on an investigation, following the terrible event during the Entry.

Calida knows that Modi sometimes struggles with himself and tries to help him the best he can. Together they grew up as brother and sister, as well as friends and colleagues. They go through fire for each other. Like her father and big brother, Calida becomes a gatekeeper, an honorable profession within Lokos.

This is due not only to the protective function that gatekeepers perform, but also to the arduous training of several years, which only a limited number of people pass. Within Lokos gatekeepers are therefore seen as an elite unit guarding the peace and tranquility of the commercial city

After the Syndicate (led by Angus Scuto Rubro), attempts a coup during the annual entry, Calida goes with Modi to investigate. Together with Patrol Guard Eep Loc and gatekeepers Toai of Bahts and Para Deeks they depart from Lokos toward Tridecapolis, with all its consequences.
